A. Yes, a typical session organically weaves in and out of capturing posed shots and candid moments. Want amazing candids? Our best tips: relax, laugh a little and be enthusiastic. Brent can be pretty entertaining during sessions, and when you're enjoying yourself it will shine through wonderfully in candids.
A: We prefer to discuss scheduling over the phone. We've found this ensures all of your questions are answered and there is no confusion. Once we have all of the information we need to schedule, we collect the applicable payment/retainer and send a contract for your signature. Our discussions about your wedding photography are on-going as the planning evolves.
A: As soon as possible, especially if you need a particular date or have limited availability. We schedule throughout the year, and certain times of year we are quite busy and have a wait list.
A: Each session is unique so it is challenging to say how many photos you will receive. Generally speaking, we deliver 10+ photos for 30min sessions, 20+ for 1hr sessions and 30+ for 1.5hr sessions. Weddings are different and, depending on length, generate hundreds of photos.
A: The best time for your session depends on the time of year and location. We prefer to do park sessions in the morning or afternoon, usually avoiding midday. We prefer to do beach sessions towards the end of the day. Give us a call and we'll discuss the best time of day for your session.
A: This is one of our most common questions so we’ve created a What to Wear Guide. Click here to check it out! It is geared towards families, but all of our clients LOVE it!
A: With nearly 3,000 photo sessions under our belt, we’ve tried quite a few locations in the Tampa area. We’ve found some work betters than others. You can click here to view Locations We Love. We like to discuss our clients’ needs to ensure we’re using the best location. Feel free to give us a call 727-946-8129 or click here to email us and schedule your session.
A: We don’t recommend beach locations for children younger than 5-years-old. The sand and the surf can be distracting. However, if you have your heart set on the beach, we’ll make it work. All of our locations are based on availability.
A: We cover the entire life spectrum: engagement, wedding, maternity, newborn, family and senior portraits. We also do events of all kinds.
A: Digital files are the digital versions of your photos. You can post them on social media, have them printed, make an album, even put them on a t-shirt. You’re only limited by your imagination. Any digital file purchased from us is high-resolution and comes with a print release. We recommend backing up digital files purchased to an external hard drive, flash drive and/or to the cloud. If you would like us to send you a flash drive or CD of your digital files, the fee is $30.
A: A retouch is when we change something about the photo. This can include evening skin tone, easing wrinkles, whitening teeth, or smoothing stray hairs. If your package includes a basic retouch it will include the above items and retouching above and beyond this may incur an additional fee. More complex retouches may include removing glare from glasses, swapping heads on a photo, removing someone or changing the sky or background. Click here for more information about our retouch service.
